Doug was a professional life and marriage counselor until July 28, 2014. His life was literally centered on the well-being of hundreds of people one-on-one and indirectly affected the lives of thousands more through his weekly articles in local publications. He was the founder of Lewisville Community Counseling Center. Doug was a down-to-earth, incredibly intelligent, and loving person to many, many people. His legacy will live on for many years in the hearts, lives, and souls that he impacted. Some of his weekly articles will be published here for people to read and hopefully, take something away that will help guide them. I knew Doug Smith personally and was truly blessed by his infinite sources of wisdom.
